Inspecting Sewer Lines
There’s a great deal of information we can learn about your plumbing system by using an sewer line video camera.
To inspect the pipes and find possible problems, a special plumbing camera head connected to a flexible cable is inserted into the main sewer line cleanout or the vent stack and snaked through the pipes.
The plumber can then watch on a monitor at ground level to see what’s going on in your sewer pipes.
We are able to inspect inside the pipes to help determine what might be causing a problem with your plumbing or they can go into the cleanout in your basement and see everything as well.
We’re able to determine what type of system you have whether it’s cast iron clay or PVC pipe by running a sewer camera inside the pipes.
With the sewer camera, we can see fittings, t’s, and other types of connections. We can also use it to see where water runs through the connections. We’re able to see where the water flows to or from or where it comes from one line and into another.
Sewer cameras can have location devices that send out a signal and using a special signal receiver above ground, we can pinpoint where the camera is underground to find exact locations that may need to be repaired.
